BCI Dental Laboratory

The BCI Dental Laboratory is a family owned and operated business led by husband-and-wife team Jamie and Leanne Lane. Specialising in the restorations of dental crowns, bridges and implants, Jamie and Leanne took over the business in 2013 and recently accessed the Tasmanian Government’s Tasmanian Business Advice Service (TBAS).

“My main goals were to build a new website, create an online presence and develop a marketing strategy,” said Leanne.  “But I also needed some assistance in income forecasting and cashflow planning.”

Leanne teamed up with Rob Gowty and James Robinson from In-tellinc – both independent business advisors delivering the TBAS program.

“I have gained so much in the time that I have worked with Rob and James,” Leanne said.

“Rob has helped me to create a new website for the business and increased our social media presence with Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.

“With his assistance I also have a clear marketing strategy to take the business forward.”

James also helped Leanne to extract the businesses financial data to create a cashflow forecast. A task that Leanne said would have been otherwise overwhelming.
