Tasmanian Business Advice Service

Free and independent advice for established businesses.

The Tasmanian Business Advice Service is designed to support established businesses with 19 or fewer Full Time Equivalent employees, that have held an Australian Business Number (ABN) for at least 12 months.

If you are thinking about starting a business or have held an ABN for less than 12 months, support is available through the New Business Support Pilot Program.

Businesses can access up to five hours of business advice and support through the Tasmanian Business Advice Service on a wide variety of topics, including:

  • managing cashflow
  • marketing
  • risk management
  • small business planning and small business strategy.

You can meet in person or online with your local advisor, or choose to meet any advisor online, regardless of their location.

To meet with one of our experienced advisors, please complete this simple online registration form, or talk to the Business Tasmania team.

We will ask you a few details about your business, the type of advice you are seeking and if you have a preferred advisor.

We will also ask you to agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Once you have registered, your advisor will contact you to arrange an appointment.
