Running a small business can be challenging. The Tasmanian Business Advice Service offers free, confidential, one-on-one business advice to help you make confident decisions and strengthen your business.
You’ll work with an experienced advisor who understands the Tasmanian small business environment and can help you address challenges such as cashflow, planning, productivity and growth.
What we can help you with
You can access up to five hours of free advice per financial year, tailored to your business needs.
Common topics include:
- cashflow and financial management
- marketing and attracting customers
- business planning and growth strategies
- risk management and compliance
- productivity and operations
- preparing your business for change.
Advice can be delivered in person, online or by phone, depending on what suits you best.
Who the service is for
The Tasmanian Business Advice Service is for established Tasmanian small businesses.
You’re eligible if your business:
- has 19 or fewer full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, and
- has held an Australian Business Number (ABN) for 12 months or more.
If you’re thinking about starting a business or your ABN is less than 12 months old, our New Business Support Service may be a better fit.
